- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Embedded S/W Engineer Level 4 for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
Our client is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop embedded real-time software. Selected candidate will integrate algorithms into C++ applications. Candidate is expected to be proficient in C/C++ 11 or later. The candidate needs experience in hardware to software integration, Intel multi-core processors, multi-threaded applications, Linux, Graphical interfaces, and full software life-cycle development.

Hardware/Software (HW/SW) integration and test
Linux OS. Software configuration management / version control. Software issue tracking and project management.
Ada 95. Agile development. Autopilot. FPGA interface w/some FPGA knowledge. Full life-cycle development
Gimbal line of sight control. Git - source code versioning. GitLab - source code versioning / CI/CD platform development. GPS-aided inertial navigation. Guidance Navigation & Control (GNC)
IR seeker image processing. Jira - issue tracking and Agile project management. Launch sequence and control. Mission Data Transfer. Scripting. Serial communication standards (MIL-STD-1553, RS-232, RS-422) Technical documentation.
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other related field with significant software development experience.
