Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sys Integratn/Test Eng Level 2 for a contract opportunity in Letterkenny, PA.

SUMMARY:
Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is for a TADS SRA (Special Repair Activities) Test Engineer/software engineer that will interface with other TADS SRAs and Support Engineering Team (SET) members regarding repairs and test equipment, metrics and ensuring throughput is optimal. The candidate will integrate and validate software for duplicate or new TADS test equipment and be capable of writing, maintaining, and supporting test procedures, test software documents, validation plans, calibration procedures, etc. Tasks will include developing and designing new or duplicate Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) test stations, investigate instrumentation obsolescence and identify replacement parts. Upgrade existing test software for the new instrumentation and latest computer operating system. Knowledgeable in Test Engineering processes, such as Software Test Reports (STRs), Tool Drawing Changes (TDCs), and Windchill. Software development skills should include Test Stand, CVI, and Lab View. Experienced in electronic design. Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems to solutions. Primary Function will be supporting the Letterkenny Special Repair Activity (LSRA) in Chambersburg, PA in all manners regarding the repair, maintenance, and calibration of the depot test equipment and customer repairs. Responsible for analyzing data to identify failure trends and recommending actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Responsibilities include interacting with SRA personnel, subcontractors, report writing, white paper writing, and Repair Review Board. Recognize opportunities for improvement based on failure data. Candidate should have the ability to use hardware/software and troubleshooting skill sets.

REQUIREMENTS:
BSCE, BSEE, or BSME.Strong Computer Skills including MS Office. Demonstrated ability to work within a team. Understanding of requirements conforming to current industrial/military standards. Strong interpersonal communication, planning and writing skills. Ability to adapt to up-tempo work environment, motivated and result oriented

Desired
Experience troubleshooting or repairing electronics in military or commercial industry. Experience presenting findings to customers and management. Testability & Maintainability Experience. Matlab, LabView, Test stand, and Lab Windows/CVI Systems integration Experience. Electronic/Electromechanical testing and troubleshooting. Understanding of Engineering drawings, Mechanical and Electronic.
