Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking three Metallic Structural Analysis Engineer's for a contract/hybrid in Redondo Beach, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzes, researches and develops structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design, or operation of product to include structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronics, power plant, armament, heating and ventilating, equipment and maintenance designs. Analyzes damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling. Specific structural engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue and thermal analysis. Tools utilized may include CATIA, IDEAS, ProEngineer and a variety of software applications.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
M.S. Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering and 7 years’ experience performing structural analysis of aircraft or space structures
B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering and 9 years’ experience performing structural analysis of aircraft or space structures

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience performing structural analysis on the F35 Program and familiar with the Lockheed Martin tools of IMAT, IDAT, and PDM

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 workweek. This position is REMOTE and offers work from home flexibility, but candidate must be available to report onsite to Redondo Beach, CA as needed or in the event a hybrid schedule is requested

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
