Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer for a Hybrid opening in Hazelwood, MO

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seeking a motivated self-starting engineer with a passion for problem solving using modeling and simulation capabilities. Our team utilizes and maintains simulation tools which are leveraged across the Company providing solutions for a wide array of business and engineering challenges. These challenges support commercial, government, and services products and platforms giving this position a unique opportunity to experience many sides to our core businesses.
Operations & Systems Analysis Engineers applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Using analysis tools the Operations & Systems Analysis Team creates solutions to an array of operational challenges, many of which have never been previously attempted. The Operations & Systems Analysis team is seeking new engineers to continue delivering innovative solutions to further these capabilities.
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
Position Responsibilities:
• Develop operations models to assess and identify root cause factors, perform trade studies and sensitivity analyses, incorporate modeling & simulation capabilities and provide recommendations to client program management.
• Use modeling and simulation capabilities to analyze, assess and identify root cause factors, perform trade studies and sensitivity analyses, and provide recommendations to client program management
• Build logistics and operations support models
• Use programming skills to support development of innovative new simulation capabilities.
• Develop visualization tools for new and existing models and scenarios.

REQUIREMENTS:
• engineering experience or related coursework with modeling and simulation of complex systems
• 3+ years of experience do you have working in a professional environment
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
• Computer Programming skills and knowledge

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree

SHIFT:
Full-Time- 1st Shift
08:00am-04:30pm

MISCELLANEOUS:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
