Chipton-Ross is seeking a Hospitality Specialist with prior Hotel Concierge/Events experience for a contract opportunity in Santa Monica, CA.
This position will be 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The On Premise Hospitality Specialist (contractor) is responsible for organizing and executing all hospitality needs in Santa Monica. This position will act as the bridge between all request from RBNA employees and the LA On Premise team, ensuring organization of all hospitality requests, looking like #1 in participating accounts, and executing to perfection.

o 50% administrative work
o 50% field work
· MANAGE RESERVATIONS
o Work with EAs and DLs to proactively plan upcoming visits from global and other regions
o Work with partner hotels on competitive room rates while facilitating group bookings
o Manage and organize the Navigator Portal on Workbench
o Work with partner accounts to leverage group dinners and night outs for new distribution and incremental execution
· MANAGE RELATIONSHIPS.
o Build relationships with partner hotels and accounts
o Build relationships with key stakeholders at all accounts: GMs, VIP hosts, bar staff, booking agents, etc.
o Conduct staff trainings to keep staff educated.
· MAINTAIN ACCOUNT EXECUTION TO LOOK LIKE #1.
o Coordinate delivery, set-up, and maintaining of visibility items (coolers, infrastructure, etc).
o Ensure proper infrastructure set up for big moments and events.
o Coordinate on-site activations, distribution and visibility with event partners and concessions for selected festivals.

REQUIREMENTS:
· 1-2 years experience in event planning, high end retail, hotel concierge, customer service/hospitality, administrative work, and understanding of the on premise landscape required
· Past work experience with banquets, hotel concierge/front desk, FOH background required
· Strong organizational and project management skills
· General experience managing budgets and creating budget trackers
· Good communication skills
· Capability to cultivate team environment

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
Hospitality or customer service background, whether that be banquets, FOH restaurant (i.e. host), hotel concierge/front desk experience

1-2 years of experience with event planning is a plus, but having that background and customer service mindset is going to be very important for this role

EDUCATION: High school/GED

SHIFT: 1st

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
