Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Structures Mechanic for a contract opening at Langley AFB, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Repairs, replaces and overhauls aircraft structural systems to ensure airworthiness. Determines feasibility and method of repairing/replacing/restoring malfunctioning, damaged, or low observable components. Work typically requires a detailed understanding of blueprints, aircraft drawings and low observable coating applications. Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations. Must be able to read and interpret technical data.

Must have aircraft structures experience.

5/40 - 2nd Shift

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
