Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Inspector for a contract opening at Beale AFB, CA.
This position will be part of the Aircraft Maintenance Team supporting U-2 Aircraft Repair and Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) Operations at Beale Air Force Base California. Performs the inspection of aircraft for functional operation and conformance to government and company standards and specifications. Inspects the installation and operation of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, oil, and emergency systems and other parts and equipment of the aircraft. Ensure aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Ability to plan/conduct Process Compliance Surveillance Program (PCSP) audits. Ability to conduct incident and/or mishap investigation audits, prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information, and trends including failed process, recalls, corrective actions, and validations. Ensures aircraft records are updated and maintained. Ability to draft/submit engineering disposition request. Keep the quality assurance supervisor updated with quality status of aircraft... Business travel is required.
Prior aircraft inspection experience.
Considered candidates must be capable of working first (1st), second (2nd), or third (3rd) shift(s) and weekends dependent on customer needs.
