Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Systems Administrator 2's for a contract opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.
Red Hat Linux Systems Administrator located in Redondo Beach, CA. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining smooth operation of classified multi-user computer systems.
Duties will include interaction with users to determine hardware/software requirements and installation and configuration of hardware, operating systems and COTS. Ancillary duties will include, but are not limited to, evaluation of vendor products, providing recommendations to purchase hardware and software, providing backup recovery, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, and computing asset management.
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience; Master's degree; or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Systems Administration of Linux and Windows Operating Systems
Ability to obtain and maintain Security+ certification
Experience with remote and local system deployments
Familiarity with NAS and SAN technologies (NetApp SAN, EMC SAN, HP NAS)
CISSP or Microsoft OS Certification
High school diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.
9/80 work week.
