Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for a hybrid contract opportunity in Lexington, KY.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This a mid-career Software Engineering position (5-10 yrs exp). You will work as part of a team to support an existing Department of Defense Logistics Information System on a .NET platform. The supported (web) applications run on SQL Server databases.

REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Requirements
* Object oriented development exposure, whether with C#, C++ or other
languages
* SQL skills
* Ability to segment sizable projects into workable milestones and provide
reasonable estimates and time lines
* Create and conduct unit tests
Desired Skills:
* Working knowledge of Visual Studio
* Experience with DevExpress

EDUCATION:
BS+6-10 YRS or MS+4-8 YRS
Ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
