Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineer Software 2 for a contract opportunity in Aurora, CO.
Program is seeking a software algorithms engineer focused on scheduling algorithms to join the AMMOLITE Ground Segment team. The ideal candidate must have implementing algorithms into software systems.
This position is to contribute to an Agile team in implementing changes to an existing scheduling algorithm.
The successful applicant will be part of a team modifying an algorithm build with JAVA and Python to meet new and evolving mission needs. The team will work in an Agile and DevOps construct in a AWS cloud based environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM degree with 5 + years of experience; 3+ years with a Master's; 0 years with a PhD.
-Experience creating or modifying software algorithms.
-Experience with Object Oriented Programming in C++ or Java.
-Experience with ground systems supporting space operations.
-Experience with Java programming.
-Experience with Agile.
-Experience with a DevOps environment.
-Knowledge of/experience creating tests to support CI/CD operations.
-Knowledge of software systems developed in an AWS environment.
-Experience with virtualization, messaging techniques, and associated technologies.
-Experience using software version control such as Git (GitLab or BitBucket).
-Experience using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.
9/80 work week. 100% onsite.
