Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Analyst for a remote contract opportunity.

-Maximum rate : $23.69/hr
-Work can be performed primarily remotely, but would prefer a candidate in the local Huntsville area.
-This position will review, analyze and report quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems.

The Quality Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts and six-sigma tools and analyses. This position will review, analyze and report quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems. They will also investigate problems; make recommendations and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. This positions will interface with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.

Knowledge of:
Applicable codes, rules and regulations related to the area of assignment and organizational quality control policies and procedures. Quality engineering programs. Quality control and regulatory processes. Interviewing techniques and methods for obtaining and communicating information. Use of various computer systems to produce data, analyses and reports Lean and Six Sigma concepts Safety regulations, principles and practices of work safety.
Ability to:
Interpret and evaluate data and processes. Read and interpret blueprints and related specifications Interpret laws, rules and regulations. Analyze and evaluate information from a variety of sources. Maintain records, and prepare reports and correspondence related to the work. Operate effectively in a team environment. Conduct studies and research Effectively communication, both verbally and in writing. Deal with multiple tasks and deadlines set by management Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.

A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
