Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technical Illustrator 3 for a hybrid contract opportunity in Hazelwood, MO.

This role will require to be onsite 1-2 days a week.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans, designs and creates technical illustrations working from customer inputs. Ensures product compliance with commercial, government and organizational standards and specifications. Uses existing processes and systems to research, create and revise technical illustrations. Writes and edits processes to document technical manuals processes and procedures. Investigates emerging technologies and contributes to the development of new techniques. Participates in or leads teams to develop new or revise existing standards. Integrates text with graphics based on customer requirements. Works under limited supervision.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience interpreting engineering data (2D or 3D) to develop technical illustrations.
Experience with illustration tools such as Unigraphics (UG), CATIA, Adobe Illustrator, IsoDraw, Canvas or Wiselmage.

PREFERRED DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience developing technical illustrations for military technical publications.

EDUCATION:
Accredited education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
