Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Configuration Management Specialist 4 for a Hybrid contract opportunity in Hazelwood, MO.
This position requires onsite work 3 days a week.
This position is 100% onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define, plan, coordinate and conduct a comprehensive set of product and subsystem level reviews, change boards, and audits to manage change incorporation.
Develop the implementation of Configuration and Data Management Customer Deliverables.
Support the definition and allocation of Configuration Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle.
Track and report data to monitor adherence to regulatory, configuration and contractual requirements.
Support development of media, Software product end items, and other baseline deliverables to the Customer.
Act as liaison between Software Configuration Control Board and other functions as needed
Administration of SCM tools such as ClearCase/ClearQuest
Ensure Client meets its contractual deliveries for Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items for one or more of the active Training Systems contracts
Act as a liaison between engineering and researchers producing CDRL items and customer Point of Contacts (POCs) for a given CDRL item to ensure compliance to the given CDRL format, Program Work Statement (PWS), CDRL 1423 format, and Data Item Description (DID).
Ensure adherence to established CDRL processes and work instructions.
Understand and communicate the overall CDRL system to all stakeholders and provide complete situational awareness of all CDRLs and individual CDRL delivery timelines.
Coordinate with the Technical Editor/Writers to ensure we produce products with professional format, readability, and style and which are of the highest quality
Assists with plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control.
Supports the monitoring of adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; assists with audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements
Supports certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience setting up and facilitating change control boards
Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Configuration Management systems, Change Management, and PLM Processes and Tools
5+ years of experience performing data management
Experience in a role that required organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, facilitate, and coordinate multiple projects
Experience interfacing with all engineering disciplines and be able to work in a team environment and work independently as required
Experience in project management
PREFERRED DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience and knowledge of Agile Methodologies
Experience with any of the following Client enterprise standard or similar Systems Engineering tools: ClearCase, ClearQuest, DOORS, BORIS, Sherlock, VersionOne
Experience with data management tools such as Customer and Supplier Data Transmittal (CSDT)
Experience documenting and publishing organizational processes
EDUCATION:
Accredited education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
