Chipton-Ross is seeking a Data Architect for a remote contract opportunity.

This position is for a senior level Information Architect within the client Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO). The successful candidate will report to the Customer Success Manager and take direction from the Chief Architect. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of systems architecture, business process architecture, and data architecture to ensure the client data strategy enables the client business transformation strategy.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support data architecture decomposition assessments and design decisions for the Lockheed Martin business transformation program, focusing on value streams related to Human Resources.
Define and drive enterprise-level data architecture standards to support business process and system transformations in areas such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS).
Define and develop enterprise-wide data domains, enable data domain stewards, and consult across the enterprise on federated data architecture solutions.
Apply systems engineering and systems architecture disciplines to data strategy implementation and operations.
Support data strategy implementation activities such as data governance, data management, metadata management, data security, data quality, and data interoperability.

Mandatory Requirements:
Most recent work should include S/4 Hana experience, ideally working on a conversion/upgrade from ECC to S/4 Hana.
Proven data architect experience with HR data and processes and Human Resources value streams like Hire to Retire.
Proven data architecture experience with ERP digital threads such as Employee, etc.
Proven experience with defining and implementing data and information architecture in an SAP S/4HANA environment.
Proven experience with systems engineering and systems architecture.
Proven experience with business process architecture and business process transformation.
Proven experience harmonizing systems, processes, and/or data across multiple business areas and functions.
Proven experience building and communicating technical and functional roadmaps
Proven experience with data governance standards and practices.
Desired Skills:
Experience with frameworks and standards such as Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Open Applications Group Integration Specification (OAGIS), APQC process classification frameworks (PCF), Quality Information Framework (QIF), ISO 10303 / STEP, etc.
Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler / Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) techniques and platforms.
Experience with Extract, Transfer, and Load (ETL) and Data Engineering.
Experience with SAP data tools/platforms such as Master Data Governance (MDG), Information Steward, HANA, Data Services, etc.
Experience with data catalog and business glossary platforms.
Experience developing and utilizing functional ontologies and experience with ontology tools.
Experience with System of Systems (SoS) architecture.



Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
