Chipton-Ross is seeking a technical writer for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Writes, in clear and concise language, such technical documents as procedure manuals, service manuals, and related technical publications concerned with installation, operation, and maintenance of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and other equipment. Includes writing such technical documentation as operational specifications, bulletins, articles, and marketing publications. Acquires or verifies knowledge of subject by interviewing workers engaged in developing new products and services or in making improvements, observing performance of experiments and methods of production, referring to blueprints, sketches, engineering drawings and notes, trade and engineering journals, rewrites of articles, bulletins, manuals, or similar publications.
REQUIREMENTS:
Aircraft Modification
SAP
Ability to Edit, Process, and Implement Work Orders
Ability to Read Engineering Drawings
Ability to write technical documents and end-user documentation
Desired but not Mandatory Skills:
Aircraft Sheet Metal Repairs , Configuration Management ,Fighter Experience (F16,F18,F22,F35) ,Aircraft production structures experience, C-130J experience
EDUCATION:
BS+0-2 YRS
SHIFT:
4/10-1st ShiftEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
