Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for a remote contract opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
These software engineers are required to design, develop and implement interfaces between Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and software engineering tool sets to meet the needs of newly defined model based business processes.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have 5-8 years' experience in the following skills

Experience with software development in a microservice-based or service-oriented architecture
Proficient backend experience in Java, Python, Go, or Node.js
API development (REST, OpenAPI, JSON, JSON Schema)
CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Proficient in systems architecture and integration
Experience using agile development practices

PREFERRED DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience developing containerized applications (Docker)
Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/TKG/OpenShift)
Experience with System Modeling in Cameo Enterprise Architecture (SysML, UAF, BPMN)
Experience with messaging frameworks such as Kafka, AMQ
API Integration/Interface of MBSE tools/integration (OSLC, Cameo, DOORS NG)
Experience using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) tools
Data management knowledge (modeling, mapping, architecture, security)

Bachelor's Degree
