Chipton-Ross is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator for a hybrid contract opportunity in Cary, NC.

Inventory Coordination (70%)
Manage and execute transactions for all bulk product purchases, terminal, and tolling operations.
Place requisitions for specified raw materials/components.
Gather upcoming shipment data from all of our sites each day
Compile this data into a user friendly spreadsheet
Share this spreadsheet with Supply Chain that highlights logistics and other operational issues that need attention
Share this spreadsheet with Customer Service Reps that allow them to proactively communicate delivery times and issues, as appropriate
Update and communicate this spreadsheet through the day as new information comes in from the sites
Other (30%)
Provide support for setup of new materials, plant, or storage locations as necessary.
Assist with setting priorities, tracking shipments, and monitoring inventories to meet sales.
Actively identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes and work with the appropriate resources. .
Administer master data maintenance in SAP, as required.
Administrate demand forecast updates in SAP as part of ACR's S&OP process and supporting the North American Supply Chain Manager.
Coordinating multiple activities at the same time is required. The ability to prioritize is critical.
Supports the site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements
Participates in HES activities provided by site management (e.g., Behavioral Base Safety, SafeStart, etc.)
Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents

1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain or related field perferred.
Possess some working knowledge of supply chain concepts.
Demonstrated proficiency in data entry and manipulation.
Excel, Power Point, Word, and demonstrated experience learning other company/proprietary tools.
SAP experience would be a plus.
Demonstrate strong problem solving skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Self-starter with inquisitive nature along with aptitude to originate and implement new concepts quickly.
Capability of quickly learning new technology and systems and applying knowledge in regular use.

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business logistics, engineering, or related discipline.


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
