Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Manager for a hybrid contract opportunity in Santa Monica, CA.

The Trade Marketing Project Manager works within the Trade Marketing team to support fundamental tasks involved in the POS development process from concept development to delivery. The TMPM must understand the retail environment in order to develop effective merchandising solutions, have a customer service mindset, an eye on trends and the future, a desire to understand shoppers, and above all else, the drive to win versus competition and look like #1 in-store.

With a focus on large format retailers (including but not limited to mass, club & grocery channels) the Trade Marketing Project Manager executes the retail marketing and visibility strategies for assigned customers. The TMPM brings marketing campaigns to life through multi-faceted POS plans in assigned customers through collaborative relationships with the Shopper.

Executes visual merchandising/ POS strategy & development for assigned projects/ accounts/ channels Serves as a subject matter expert and point of contact for assigned accounts POS and merchandising initiatives.
Develops POS solutions that serve the needs of assigned customers.
Supports the annual business plan process (including guideline and look of success development) with guidance on effective POS solutions to achieve commercial and Brand objectives Owns and communicates Trade Marketing production timelines to all relevant stakeholders including Agencies, Brand, Operations, and Field teams Additional assigned projects as determined by the Sr Trade Marketing Manager- Large Format and Director of Trade Marketing.
Supports the Development of New POS Innovations Drafts project briefs by gathering applicable requirements from all internal stakeholders.
Builds project timelines and manages internal stakeholders and external partners against all deliverables Proactively communicates any anticipated challenges or at-risk milestones to manager Maintains accurate project statuses and notes in project management systems Collaborates with cross functional stakeholders including Operations, Field Sales Force and Key Accounts, Shopper Marketing, Product Marketing, BU Brand Marketing Teams to deliver projects on-time, on-budget and exceed customers expectations.
Reviews all custom print POS requests for assigned customers/ channels to ensure quality and compliance with brand standards.
Reinforces the Look of Success and Perfect Store standards across assigned projects, channels & customers.

5+ years consumer Goods Industry, Brand Marketing and/or Product Development experience with exposure to retailers.
5+ years of strong planning, prioritization, and project management competencies.
Experience working with Agencies or Production suppliers
Technical knowledge of POS Production (Print, Permanent, Temporary)
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Exceptional communication skills, including presenting, writing and collaboration abilities
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment are a must.
Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate cross department networking.
Conscientious, strong attention to detail, self-starting Strong conceptual thinking and design critiquing skills.

English Fluent. Additional languages a plus.


Required to sit onsite, hybrid okay. 3 days onsite, 2 remote
20% Travel

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
