Chipton-Ross is seeking Sr. Procurement Analyst for a contract opportunity in Carlstadt, NJ.

Senior procurement analyst will responsible for determining and negotiating reasonable pricing, favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers; Preparing and processing requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services, technical equipment, custom engineered products, systems, software or components, and supplies for customer-related business processes; Developing and implementing strategies for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, quality improvements, service delivery improvements and process efficiencies; Reviewing purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy; Discussing defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiating refunds; Partnering with our suppliers to identify innovative ways to build quality into our designs and to improve efficiencies and build upon the reliability of client hardware; Managing the long term relationship with the supplier and the supply base to maintain and improve competitiveness in the marketplace; Supporting program Integration product teams in defining requirements, executing purchase order placement and administering the contract through receipt; May be required to have knowledge of the pertinent Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), codes and procedures pertaining to procurement and contractual agreements.

Basic accounting principles and practices
Applicable business practices relating to the purchase, pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, and payment for products and services
Purchasing principles, procedures, and terminology
Sources of materials, supplies, and services
Must have experience in an AS9100 or ISO9000 environment.

Bachelor Degree preferred


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
