Chipton-Ross is seeking an ASIC Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Rolling Meadows, IL.

This position is 100% onsite.

The project goals is to update existing legacy designs to be compatible with new manufacturing requirements.

o 5-10 years FPGA development with Xilinx ISE and Vivado tools (weighted towards ISE as these are legacy designs being modified)
o 5-10 years FPGA development with Altera/Intel Quartus and Questa/ModelSim tools (weighted towards older tool set versions as these are also legacy designs being modified)
o Military/Aerospace or High Reliability Product Development experience a plus
o Capabilities - Work independently and operate as a member of an Agile team to:
o Port existing code development and code management environment/tools to a new a network
o Rebase code and verify functionality in new environment
o Modify rebased code as required
o Test and verify modified code works in existing production environment and passes all current manufacturing/quality tests
o Develop supporting documentation and new processes as required - written fluency in English to develop formal documentation necessary
o Present Design and Test information to Program Management, Technical, and (possibly) Customer Leadership as required
o Interface with Program Management, Software, Systems Engineering, Operations, Quality, USG and Customer representatives as necessary.

Bachelor's Degree
School must be accredited.

5/40 workweek.
1st shift.
