Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Logistics Planner for a contract opportunity in Plainsboro, NJ.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Coordinates shipping arrangements, prepares/provides shipping documentation for exports.
o Contact point for external freight forwarders, customs brokers and international transportation carriers.
o Communicate with steamship, air and local trucking companies to arrange all export outbound shipments.
o Ensure that all shipments comply with International, Federal and State shipping regulations.
o Communicates directly with both internal & external customers regarding timely shipment of their orders.
o Maintain accurate files and documentation on all shipments.
o Responsible for outbound delivery via SAP transactions
o Consolidate customer's orders to minimize freight costs by load planning to ensure weekly sailings, full containers, or less than container shipment dates are achieved.
o Perform all other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:
2-5 years' experience in logistics or planning area

EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree

SHIFT:
Full-Time
1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
