Chipton-Ross is seeking a Maintenance Electrician 3 for an opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repairs, constructs, installs, troubleshoots, and maintain routine electrical systems and equipment.
o Cuts, threads, bends, and straps various types of conduit
o Installs, repairs, or replaces switch boxes, light bulbs, plugs, sockets, light fuses, and extension cords,
o Disassembles motors, generators, and other equipment in preparation for repair
o Troubleshoots electrical malfunctions, inspects circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding, and tests electrical equipment for safety and efficiency
o Uses blueprints, drawings, layout, or other specifications, and electrical hand tools and voltage-or-amperage measuring and recording devices

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o 4 years of Commercial or Industrial electrical experience in service and repair
o Completion of an industry recognized apprenticeship program
o Experience using meters, amp probes, and other standard industry tools
o Experience with motor control centers
o Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)

DESIRED SKILLS:
o Trade school certificate or Electrical Degree.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED
School must be accredited.


HOURS:
9/80 workweek.
Must be willing to work 1st shift (5 am- 2:30 pm) or 2nd shift (2 pm - 11:30 pm)

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
