Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer 3 for an opportunity in Morrisville, NC.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Experience with UI development
- Knowledge of object-oriented design
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Experience with containers and container management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience with React and Node.js
- Experience with Java and/or C++
- Experience with Python
- Experience with NoSQL functional databases
- Experience with Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of cloud development and deployment
- Certified AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional), i.e. CSA-A or CSA-P

EDUCATION:
- Principal: Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; PhD with 0 years' experience; An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement.
- Senior Principal: Bachelor's degree in STEM with 9 years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 7 years of relevant experience; PhD with 4 years of relevant experience; An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement.
- US citizen with an active or current TS/SCI
School must be accredited.


HOURS:
5/40 workweek.
1st shift.


MISCELLANEOUS:
