Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a PC Support I for a contract opportunity in Topeka, KS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for the installation, upgrade, and set up of desktop hardware. Using established guidelines and procedures, installs, upgrades, and configures desktop hardware. Completes documentation for hardware inventory management.

REQUIREMENTS:
Manages time effectively while assuring attention to details. Finishes tasks accurately, completely and in a timely manner. Works effectively in a team environment. Makes sound decisions, using established guidelines and guidance.

Windows 10 Support - Experience providing Windows 10 Support (no LESS than 2 years)
PC Support - Experience providing PC Support in an enterprise/corporate setting (No LESS than 3 years)
Customer Service - Prior customer service experience including face to face and via phone.
Communication - Must have a good understanding of technical issues and be able to relay the issue to the user in a non-technical dialogue.
Encryption - Prior experience encrypting hard disk drive (Not mandatory, please include # of years' experience)

EDUCATION:
Accredited Associate's Degree in a computer science-related field
OR
2 years recent experience in desktop hardware installation.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
Scheduled working hours are typically Monday through Friday position from 8a - 5p, 40 hours per week.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
