Chipton-Ross is seeking a Maintenance Engineer 3 for a contract/hybrid opportunity in Warner Robins, GA.

*Currently hybrid role (2 days a week in the office) but they need to be in Warner Robbins.

Analyzes complex engineering designs and design changes to determine maintenance/repair requirements, procedures and instructions. Influences product designs and processes to ensure supportability and maintainability. Develops and uses fault isolation procedures and techniques. Creates systems theory descriptions to ensure common understanding of systems and components. Conducts engineering analyses to verify the accuracy of maintenance/repair data. Develops and provides technical solutions to customers; evaluates customers'' maintenance operations. Develops procedures and techniques to allow users to maintain and repair products. Participates in organizational activities that influence the Aerospace Industry.

Collect, analyze, and review in-service data throughout the operating life cycle to continually refine the maintenance strategy to ensure reliable, safe, and cost wise readiness operations.
Work hand in hand with highly experienced engineers in design, maintenance and field engineering, depot partners and customers to effectively sustain and optimize its preventive maintenance requirements through continuous monitoring.

Facilitate cross group and inter-disciplinary actions, communication and customer coordination/reporting.
Knowledge & working knowledge of Excel & the Microsoft Office suite.
Some knowledge of and familiarity with C-17 is required

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, (e.g. Bachelor and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience such as PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master + 7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
