Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job consists of both system-level mechanical and electrical assembly on single-bay racks and consoles as well as assembly and integration of ground and flight simulators. May have to disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and sub-assemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

REQUIREMENTS:
o Must have recent successful experience in a similar role in a manufacturing setting.
o Must have strong ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, drawings and procedures.
o Must be able to build complex assemblies using drawings or detailed work instructions.
o Proficiency in cable routing per interconnect diagrams and drawings is required.
o Successful candidate must have strong defect recognition skills and the ability to interact with peers and support team to improve build processes.

EDUCATION:
BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS

SHIFT:
4-10-1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
