Chipton-Ross is seeking a Structural Analysis-Stress for a hybrid contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Uses computational methods and tools and performs classical hand analysis of strength of metallic and composite primary aircraft structures and finite element analysis. Performs pre-dimensioning computations by implementing analytical or digital computation methods and pass judgement on the credibility of the data received and the results obtained. Take part in drawing up the measurement plan applicable to the tests, and analyses the results. Familiarity and experience with NASTRAN, pre/post processor software, such as PATRAN or Hypermesh, as well as knowledge of MIL-HDBK-5 are also required. Candidate must have working knowledge/experience with Computer Aided Design software tool CATIA V5 (preferred). Prior experience with PDM/VAS is preferred. Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings.
REQUIREMENTS:
Stress analysis of primary airframe structure.
Metallic structural analysis experience required, composite structural analysis experience preferred.
Experience with LM Stress Tools (IDAT, VISION, IMAT).

Accredited Bachelor's Degree
