Chipton-Ross is seeking a Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Representative 2 for an opportunity in Newport News, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees and refers job applicants to specific job openings. Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, physical and personal qualifications, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral. Prepares rating on applicants, makes recommendations on starting salaries, and provides applicants with information on the company. May administer tests and interpret results, check references, arrange transportation of selected applicants, extend formal job offers, work with outside agencies and vendors, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability: Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of concepts, and principles. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.
Problem Solving: Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Discretion/Latitude: Works under only very general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
Impact: Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgement or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.
Liaison: Frequent internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects. May make presentations to small groups.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors in related field and 3 years of relevant professional experience. 1 year of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
This person may be required to drive to local recruiting events.

This person will;

o Responsible for full cycle recruiting process to fill open positions and meet staffing goals.
o Sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, developing and extending offers, and ensuring the stakeholders have a pleasant experience.
o Develop relationships and partner with hiring managers and business leaders.
o Work closely with Hiring Managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
o Develop and execute recruiting strategies utilizing all tools such as direct sourcing, online resume databases, social networking, and job events.
o Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
o Regular follow up with the hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.

EDUCATION:
Bachelors in related field OR Master's degree is required.

HOURS:
7:30AM to 4:00PM. 5/40 work week.
**This position is first shift,

**Resource will need to be onsite 100% for 3 weeks of training. Once training is complete, resource will be able to work from home 2-3 days a week.**

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
