- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Embedded S/W Engineer Level 46 for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
SUMMARY:
A person is needed to join the Lockheed Martin Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) team to continue development of the HWIL (simulation) and to conduct tests performed by the HWIL for a family of missiles, launchers, and fire-control products. The HWIL is a complex system of real and representative hardware (generally software mathematical representations of hardware) that is used to test complex real-time embedded software prior to deployment. This position requires the use and update of a sophisticated set of hardware and software to test critical software for a family of missile products.
The candidate is expected to work independently and with a team to develop and conduct tests on an exploded hardware bench. The ability to develop test code, analysis data, and troubleshoot both hardware and software problems is needed to be successful in this position.
REQUIREMENTS:
For mandatory skills, candidate can have less experience than requested but must have at least 2 years’ experience with each skill. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. C 11 or greater C++ 11 or greater.
