Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Aston, PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform precision assemblies and subassemblies of electromechanical components using standard products and methods requiring fitting, adjusting and testing. Use of hand tools and simple power tolls. Perform all functions following all safety procedures and practices while maintaining the work area and equipment in a neat, clean and orderly manner.
Read and interpret standard blueprints and directions.8%
Assemble and sub-assemble parts and equipment of repetitive and non-repetitive nature.75%
Perform simple adjusting and fitting.2%
Obtain and maintain specified information and records related to production process.5%
Operate forklift to move material and perform other production tasks, if qualified. 5%
Incumbent may be required to perform duties/responsibilities not specifically listed in this position description.

REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to read and understand blueprints. Must provide own tools. (drive sockets, open end wrenches, box wrenches, allen wrench set, pliers, screwdrivers, ball peen hammer, vice grips, hacksaw and crescent wrenches).

EDUCATION:
Accredited high School Diploma plus applicable experience.
1-2 years job related experience in mechanical assembly repair or machinery maintenance. Required experience plus 45 days training on assignment to this position should enable individual to carry out satisfactorily the duties and responsibilities.

SHIFT:
Full-Time 05:00am-04:00pm

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
