Chipton-Ross is seeking a Document Control Specialist for a contract opportunity in Houston, TX.
This position is 100% onsite.
Create and refine technical information and other various materials for explaining products and services
Use previously selected fonts and other typographic elements
Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
Suggest best practices and optimizations throughout content generation projects
Collaborate with fellow technical communicators to develop new approaches for creating more precise and engaging knowledge base articles for the company
Manage complex information and multiple projects within content specifications and budget restrictions
Use company brand voice and messaging for written pieces to reinforce the company culture " QA content for errors
Implement comprehensive technical documentation, feedback, and changes whenever possible
Create technical documents that convey accurate messaging for the project
Previous plant or manufacturing experience is considered a plus
Proficiency in word processor programs such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs and PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat
Familiarity with systems development life cycle (SDLC)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Fluency in English language
Healthy analytical and critical thinking skills
Time management and organizational skills
Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
Experience with both print and digital media formats
Accredited Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
