Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Cost Estimating Analyst 3's for a contract opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Estimates costs of design and construction based on various levels of information. Able to quickly produce high level concept cost estimates for construction location/size/specification comparisons. Where needed, can analyze specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material, or sample layouts, and calculate detailed construction costs breakdowns.
Collects cost data from completed projects, prior estimates, and vendors. Prepares and maintains historical cost data register, and models for cost estimating. Completes assessments of contractor claims and produces independent cost estimates for planning purposes.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma/GED and10+ years of experience.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.
School must be accredited.
HOURS:
9/80 workweekEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
