Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer 4 for a contract opportunity in St. Charles, MO.
This position is 100% onsite.
o Collaborate with a multi-discipline engineering team to create and implement Operational Flight Program software solutions.
o Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle in an Agile development environment.
o Develop solutions using Ada, C#, and Python.
o Test your software and assist system level testing to verify correct software functionality.
o Analyze problem reports and troubleshooting software defects.
o Develop leadership skills and experience.
o Opportunity to work directly with United States Air Force and Navy customers.
o 2 or more years of experience in developing software using Object Oriented principles.
o 2 or more years of experience working in a team environment.
PREFERRED DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
o Experience with Ada, Python, or C#.
o Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
o Experience with Git or a similar version control system.
o Experience developing and tracing software requirements.
Accredited Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, (e.g. Bachelor and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience such as PhD+ 5 years' related work experience, Master + 5 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
