Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract opportunity in Syracuse. NY.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Several years’ experience programing PLCs. The ideal candidate will have been involved in writing PLC programs from the ground up.
• Experience Integrating sensors and control equipment into automated equipment.
• Experience with pneumatic systems
• Able to read and modify electrical schematics
• Able to research and select sensors based on project requirements
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Experience troubleshooting automated equipment and performing maintenance.
Preferred:
• Experience with Mitsubishi PLCs
• Experience programming industrial robots
• Experience with robot vision

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree

SHIFT:
4/10-1st Shift


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
