Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for an opportunity in Gilbert, AZ.
This position is 100% onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position entails the manufacturing of aerospace thermal blankets, comprised of thin, fragile films sewn and taped together. Working in the Multi-Layer Insulation area (MLI). Assembly is performed in a Professional atmosphere in a Clean Room environment. Daily work attire includes lab coat and latex gloves at all times. Use of industrial sewing machine, scissors, X-acto knives and common hand tools.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
This Manufacturing Technician should be capable and experienced in working in a broad based manufacturing environment. Technician will work with a team of several people including Manufacturing Engineers and Production Planners. Will ultimately report to Manufacturing Manager.
Must work well alone and within a team environment and comfortable sitting for long periods of time at the workbench. Must possess good problem solving skills, organizational skills, communication skills, and work with limited supervision. Must be a self-starter, must be self-motivated, and a team player. Familiarization with ESD, FOD, 5S, and Tool Control required.
EDUCATION:
HSD/GED
School must be accredited.
HOURS:
5/40 workweek.
1st shift.Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
