Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Tool Specialist for a contract opportunity in North Charleston, SC.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs routine tool set up activities. Makes minor repairs. Performs manufacture, assembly and fabrication of tools. Operates various factory support equipment to move materials and tools as required. Provides tooling support to other organizations. Assists in determining fabrication and assembly processes for the design. Assists in reverse engineering design and fabrication processes for parts.

HARD REQUIREMENT:
Must have at LEAST 2 years of manual machinist experience.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Operating factory equipment
- Team work ability
- Analytical skills- planning and organizing
- Hand tools experience(wrenches as example)
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift job is a must
Able to work outside for extended periods of time during fair or inclement weather
- Able to climb ladders to gain access to interior of airplanes
- Able to learn and gain proficiency in the use of fork lifts, scissor lifts, single-man lifts, JLGs and aircraft moving equipment

EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift job is a MUST

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
