Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Procurement Agent 1 for a remote contract opportunity in Dallas, TX or near one of the Boeing worksites. Per Client, this opportunity has a strong chance of offering remote work as well).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply. Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements. Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities. The successful candidate will support client Supplier Management team in following up with suppliers to make changes to POs and ensure deliveries are made to committed dates. Works very closely with Supply Chain Execution to support new, emerging, and changing customer needs in high pressure environment. Must have the ability to work multiple tasks as one queue and discern or ask for help identify priorities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of procurement experience.
Experience with sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreement.

EDUCATION:
Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.

Accredited Bachelor's Degree

MISCELLANEOUS:
The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by the client.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
