Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Repair Technician for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains a primary assembly by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components. Troubleshoots problems to isolate faulty components. Conducts basic functional tests to ensure serviceability by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment. Performs a variety of visual inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents. Documents maintenance and inspection actions as required. Works under close supervision.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o 5+ years' experience
o Structure and repair experience
o System installation (aircraft, electrical, aircraft maintenance experience)
o Must have Repairing/Modification experience

PREFERRED DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A&P certification

EDUCATION:
Accredited basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
1st Shift

MISCELLANEOUS:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
