- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Scheduler/Integrated Planning & Scheduling Specialist 4 for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO.
Prepares, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes and maintains, integrated plans and schedules for proposals, projects, programs and major initiatives at all levels across functional value streams to meet program and/or project objectives. Tracks, plans, schedules and performs risk analysis for projects, programs and change activities throughout the lifecycle of a program. Performs studies/analysis and planning efforts, within and/or across programs/projects, organizations or business units to determine impacts, constraints and plans involving product development, production rates, process improvement, or program initiatives. Develops the Integrated Master Plan, Integrated Master Schedule and supporting elements, and drives program planning through the Enterprise Gated Process in support of Program requirements and objectives. Performs integration of program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners. Identifies, analyzes and reports schedule performance variances. Performs schedule-related risk and opportunity analyses and provides potential solutions to management. Works with customers to develop performance recovery plans and incorporates in relevant documentation where appropriate. Performs schedule, event and change impact analysis. Oversees implementation planning for change requirements and ensures commitment of stakeholders. Develops and posts planning, scheduling and change related metrics/reports. Maintains disciplined revision control of all planning/schedule baselines.
· Analytical Skills (Technical)
Skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
· Certification & Qualification
Knowledge of verification, validation, certification and qualification processes and procedures, including knowledge of governing regulations and compliance requirements. Ability to assess and document test or analysis data to show compliance.
· Data Mining
Ability to use a variety of techniques and tools to analyze the data stored in databases, data warehouses and/or data marts. Presents interpretable results in a format understood by the business.
· Engineering Config/Data Mgmt
Understanding of the technical considerations applicable to the integration of the product's hardware, software and human elements, and the knowledge and application of the Configuration and Data Management Processes and tools throughout the total product life-cycle. This includes: configuration and data management planning; configuration and document identification; change management applicable to both configurations and documentation/data; configuration status accounting; data status tracking and recording; conduct and support of design reviews and audits, and data/information retention including retrieval of active data and the long term archival storage of data required for historical or legal purposes.
· Engineering Processes
Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test, software, technology, avionics). Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business).
· Operations Processes
Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Operations departments/disciplines (e.g., Fabrication, Assembly, Tooling, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering). Knowledge of the interactions between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-operations processes (e.g., Engineering, Business, Logistics).
· Proj Management Theory/Concept
Knowledge of Project Management theory, concepts and principles (e.g. theory of constraints, critical path methodology, project risk management, triple constraints, project scope management, project management lifecycle etc.) contained in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK[R] Guide).
· Quality Systems Process
Knowledge of quality systems (e.g., inspection process, quality procedures).
· Scheduling Tools
Knowledge of master scheduling tools (e.g., #1 Flow, critical path analysis, trend analysis, improvement curve theory, precedence network).
· Systems Thinking
Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area. This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.
Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
