Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sr. Manager, Communications for a remote contract opportunity in CA.

OBJECTIVE:
In this temporary role, you will be responsible for developing, contributing to and executing on the internal and external communications strategies for the BioProduction Group (BPG), which supports developers and manufacturers of biological-based therapeutics and vaccines with a portfolio of premium solutions and services. BPG's work has contributed to COVID-19 vaccines and other critical therapies. This is a temporary contractor role, filling in for the person going on maternity leave.

We are looking for a strong communications professional who has experience in both internal and external communications programs. We want an collaborator who can continue to drive current communication plans and tactics and use his or her strategic communication skills to make recommendations and offer insights to improve our communications.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with the Senior Director of Communications for BPG, continue to drive current communications plans and goals to support communications needs across the group. Help develop content for internal and external channels, including town hall presentations, leadership messages, manager communication decks, intranet, videos, press releases, etc. Contribute to the quarterly financial communications cycle and all team-level initiatives. Partner with various functions on internal change communications initiatives, including developing business level key messages, talking points, FAQs and other materials to support change. Assist with gathering data and metrics to measure outcomes of campaigns.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 7-10 years' experience in corporate communications, internal communications or public relations. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively. Expert writer, editor and communicator with the ability to create channel specific content. Strong verbal communicator with excellent interpersonal and listening skills. Combination of strategic and creative thinker and hands-on tactician. Team player, working toward the greater good of the organization. Focused, detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong storyteller and ability to translate complex topics into easy-to-understand and impactful content. Experience partnering effectively with senior executives, and able to develop content in their voice and style. Experience in social media platforms, intranet content development and other communication technologies. Ability to travel internationally and domestically as needed.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Part-Time
15 hours / week

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
