Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Technician for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
Electrical technician capable of operating within a integration and test lab environment. Must be familiar with analog, digital, integration, and test skills to support and facilitate testing of complex hardware. Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify military grade cable assemblies. Apply principles and theories of basic electronics circuitry, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing in the assembly of electronic equipment, missile control instrumentation, test equipment and cabling. Work under direction of engineering staff. Able to fluently read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. Observe all Occupational, Safety, and Health guidance. Must be team oriented, but capable of working independently when required. Preferred experience with following test equipment: Hand Held Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Bench Bench top power supplies, Hand crimping tool
Electrical (Electro-mechanical) assembly experience. Cable/ harness/ soldering experience. Ability to comprehend electrical schematics.
Accredited Associates degree in electronics technology (or similar).
