Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Lab Assistant for a contract opportunity in King of Prussia, PA.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage samples under jurisdiction
Working in conjunction with technical staff, complete requested analytical testing in a timely manner
Report data in the form of written report. Provide data analysis only in context of submitted samples
Modify existing methodologies as required to complete analysis
Advise staff of needs (supplies, training) required to successfully complete analysis
Complete other departmental tasks as required
Participate in departmental meetings and meetings with clients.
Responsible for managing time in context with departmental workflow and turnaround objectives
Follow Corporate/Site HES and Safety policies
Follow Arkema Inc., policies on Code of Conduct, Confidentiality, and Conflict of Interest Policies
Follow Analytical Systems and Research Policies, and those specific to the working group within the department

REQUIREMENTS:
2 years industrial or research lab experience
Capability to communicate with peers, management and internal customers.
Proficient with computers
Basic knowledge of chemical and laboratory safety principles

EDUCATION:
Accredited minimum of a AS Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Technology

SHIFT:
Full-Time
1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
