Chipton Ross is seeking a Test Coordinator for a contract opportunity in Plymouth. MI.

Job Summary:
Test Coordinator:
A hands-on position that supports validation engineering staff with coordination activities for the various programs. This position works closely with one or more engineers to ensure that all documentation, material, and fixtures are aligned to carry out the various tests. This person will report to the validation department and take direction from various validation engineers and/or leadership.

. Ensure test specifications are loaded into the data base
. Complete any necessary testing documentation including work orders or test sample and fixture tags
. Manage a test schedule using validation database, and/or customer specific format
. Ensure proper test fixtures and samples are available at test location
. Understand test fixture usage on program(s) and identify concerns as they may arise
. Work with both the inside and outside labs to facilitate transfers of these fixtures to their appropriate locations
. Use validation database for test data and information. Support test report process by uploading files, loading test data and information, provide test summary and observations
. Work with validation Engineers to ensure test sample type and quantity match the test plan
. Assist in the “during” and “post” test review of test samples / photos
. Follow-up on issues and/or bottlenecks and serve as an interface between the test lab(s) and the engineering staff
. Assist in the update of various engineering documentation and program summary
. Ensure the fixture and test sample scarp list is completed
. Support validation with scheduling post-test teardowns, conducting teardowns, and finalizing them in the database
. Serve as key contact person between validation team and test labs
. Ensure that good positive relations are maintained in all situations and environments with employees, suppliers, and customers
. Strong Excel experience, general charts

General Duties:
. Maintains safe, secure, and clean work place by following 5S standards
. Provide written and verbal program and fixture status to validation
. Attend department meetings as required
. Interface with engineers and customers as required
. Handle material movement as required (i.e. fixtures, pallets, and test samples)
