Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking two Configuration Controller 2 for an opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain and production control process.
Provides administrative and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Planning and Supply Chain Sourcing, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations.
Primary work responsibility: Perform duties as driver and courier/delivery person moving packages from manufacturing areas, warehousing, and controlled work spaces.
Utilize SAP systems to expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within the work area.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds unassisted.
Release work orders for Manufacturing, receive parts into inventory, close out work order operations; Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process.
Coordinate with other department and support teams (Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, MRB, Industrial Engineering, Shipping, Distribution, and management).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.


EDUCATION:
High school diploma/GED.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 work week. Must be avialable to work off hours, weekends, and overtime.
100% onsite.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
