Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Supply Chain Technical Coordinator 1 for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Provides technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations. These employees are primarily responsible for the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• A High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year’s additional education and/or related working experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with MS office including Excel and Word
• Ability to obtain forklift certification
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:
• SAP
• Inventory Control
• Kitting
• Material Handling

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
4/10 workweek, 1st shift. 5am-3:30pm

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
