Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Engineer Software 1's for a contract opportunity in Aurora, CO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is to contribute to an Agile team. Program is seeking a software engineer focused on mission management application development. The ideal candidate must be capable of supporting complex application software in a cloud environment.

The successful applicant will be part of a team developing and modifying applications and algorithms built with JAVA and Python to meet new and evolving mission needs. The team will work in an Agile and DevOps construct in an AWS cloud-based environment.

This is an opportunity to help a customer and team take advantage of leading-edge software development practices.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor’s degree in related field or demonstrated software development experience or certifications.
-Ability to create or modify application software with Java or Python.


Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with cloud tools such as Kubernetes, Dockers.
-Experience with Python
-Experience with Agile.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 work week.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
