Chipton-Ross is seeking a Engineer Digital 2 for an opportunity in San Diego, CA.
Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates digital electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for digital electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support product development.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Computer Engineering (BSCE)
Experience with very high speed interfaces and advanced manufacturing
Experience with developing FPGA requirements and be able to show traceability to requirements and technical references.
Familiar with multilayer board design, signal integrity, and RF communication systems
Experience with scripting languages in support of development environment configuration and execution.
Experience with VHDL design or verification
Experience with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Tools: Xilinx ISE/ Vivado, Altera Quartus, ModelSim/QuestaSim.
Experience with board or system level debug as well as reading and interpreting electrical schematics
Bachelor's or Master's Degree Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Computer Engineering (BSCE).
School must be accredited.
9/80 workweek is possible.
Job is 100% on site.
