Chipton Ross if seeking a Machinist Helper for a contract assignment in Nashville, TN

Job Responsibilities
" Assist in loading and unloading stock parts, to and from storage areas or machines such as skin mills, spar mills, or other machine shop equipment as assigned.
" Maintains good housekeeping in assigned area, cleaning machines, work areas and benches by sweeping, scraping, wiping, using air pressure or vacuum. Cleans material prior to loading if necessary. Cleans machine beds and work holding equipment. Identifies parts as instructed. Assists in removing and changing cutters. Loads scrap and chips into provided containers. Supplies tools and cutters as requested to operator, returning same to storage area after use. Acts as messenger as required.
" Performs duties incidental to the accomplishment of the assigned task.
" Each employee is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and housekeeping in his/her work area as directed as well as assuring the accuracy of their work.

Job Qualifications
" High School Diploma
" Three (3) months manufacturing experience or other similar experience to prove ability and agility for entry level Production position

Work Schedule
1st Shift, 4/10 Schedule

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
