Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler I for a contract opportunity in North Charleston, SC.

This position is 100% onsite.

o Accurately and efficiently performs all assigned product assemblies following standard work instructions. Use hand and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary. Complete work in prescribed time period, moving completed component or assembly to designated area. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Assist team members to ensure a quality product and smooth workflow.
o Professionally and effectively communicate issues to leadership.
o Willingness and ability to support business needs including overtime.
o Actively participates in all change management/lean transformation activities.
o Responsible for assuring safety and quality in all actions. The role, including all day to day tasks and responsibilities, should therefore be executed while adhering to all applicable Safety and Quality Management policies, procedures and requirements to ensure an optimal level of safety and quality in both our products and services.
o Additional duties as assigned.

Accredited HS diploma or local equivalent

4/10m work schedule

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
