Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineer CAD CAM 2 for a contract/hybrid opportunity in Annapolis, MD.
Examines engineering drawings and related documents for soundness, efficiency, and simplicity in design; completeness, clarity, and dimensional accuracy; correctness of materials and processes; conformity to design/drafting standards, design specifications, and practicability; and economy of fabrication, assembly, and installation.
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of experience.
Complete understanding and wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines.
• NX Surfacing
• NX Advanced Assembly (Arrangements, Assembly sequencing, etc.)
• NX PMI application experience
• NX/Zuken Integration.
• NX Welding application experience.
• MPLM/Teamcenter and DRR knowledgeable.
• Experienced drafting complex shapes.
• Experience with ASME Y14.5 (2009) Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
• Knowledge of Y14.41 and Y14.47
Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
High school diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.
9/80 workweek.This position is REMOTE and offers work from home flexibility, but candidate must be available to report onsite to Annapolis, MD as needed or in the event a hybrid schedule is requested.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
